The insults reportedly contained racial undertones, causing uproar among parents and learners. Sources revealed George’s consistent use of demeaning language, leading to complaints from multiple students. Concerns about his behaviour escalated when a learner reported feeling insulted, prompting the school’s management to investigate.

George resigned before facing disciplinary action, a decision influenced by mounting pressure amid previous racism allegations against the school. Curro confirmed George’s resignation but denied it constituted racism, attributing it to impolite language towards a learner. The incident underscores ongoing challenges related to racial discrimination within South African schools, highlighting the need for vigilant oversight and proactive measures to address such issues.
