Search Launched for Suspects in Murder of Kaizer Chiefs Player Luke Fleurs
Gauteng police are hunting for the murder suspects behind the death of Kaizer Chiefs player Luke Fleurs in Honeydew. Per TimesLIVE, the two shooters left 24-year-old Fleurs dead at the gas station. Lt-Col Mavela Masondo revealed that Fleurs was shot once in the upper body after being taken out of his vehicle. There have been no arrests yet, but a murder and car hijacking case is under investigation.

Kaizer Chiefs and sports minister Zizi Kodwa have expressed their condolences over Fleurs’ untimely demise. Fleurs had recently joined Chiefs after his stint with SuperSport United and was yet to make his debut for the team.
