Family Alleges Poor Service at TMH, Demands Answers
A Benoni family expresses frustration over what they call ‘poor service’ at Tambo Memorial Hospital (TMH). The family alleges that workers at TMH refused to help their six-year-old autistic son, Falcon Hagan-Watson, who has epilepsy, citing a missing file. Despite their efforts, Falcon received assistance hours later, prompting his mother, Megan Hagan-Watson, to demand answers from hospital management.

According to Megan Hagan-Watson, Falcon was taken to TMH on February 1 after experiencing repeated epileptic fits. However, healthcare workers allegedly refused to treat him, claiming his file was missing due to a system changeover. Despite the delay, the hospital blames the situation on the system change. It has initiated an internal investigation through its Quality Assurance Department.
