OUTA Applauds Khosa’s Leave of Absence as a Positive Move for NSFAS
OUTA approves of Khosa’s leave of absence. The organisation considers it a positive step forward. Jacaranda FM reports that the National Student Financial Aid Scheme confirmed Khosa’s temporary departure following the release of audio recordings by OUTA, implicating him, Higher Education Minister Blade Nzimande, and the SACP in alleged corruption at NSFAS.

Calls for Khosa’s resignation and President Cyril Ramaphosa’s dismissal of Nzimande have intensified. OUTA’s Advocate, Stefanie Fick, contends that the entire NSFAS board is compromised and suggests they should contemplate stepping down. Emphasising the importance of ethical leadership and accountability, Fick anticipates thoroughly investigating the allegations to determine the appropriate actions.
