Stable Water Supply in Joburg as Residents Gear Up for Christmas
As the city prepares for the festive season, Joburg Water has announced a significant improvement in reservoir levels, ensuring a stable water supply for residents during Christmas week.
This positive development comes after a challenging period last month when several Johannesburg suburbs experienced water outages due to critically low reservoir levels.
As per EWN, Nombuso Shabalala, a spokesperson for Joburg Water, provided an optimistic update on the situation. She stated, “It is very important to highlight that our system is dynamic and can therefore change as it is influenced by a variety of factors. The outlook going into the Christmas week is positive, in line with our systems that continue to maintain an upward trajectory.”
