ANC Denies Ramaphosa’s Offer to Mediate in Dispute with Ezulweni
Contrary to media reports, Fikile Mbalula denied claims that Cyril Ramaphosa has offered to mediate the ongoing multi-million rand debt dispute between ANC and Ezulweni Investments.
According to EWN, the conflict stems from the ANC owing over R100 million to the printing and marketing company for banners produced during the 2019 elections. Unhappy with the outcomes in both the Gauteng High Court and the Supreme Court of Appeal, the ANC has escalated the matter to the Constitutional Court.

Last week, the sheriff of the court, aiming to attach the ANC’s assets, arrived at the party’s Luthuli House headquarters, intensifying the legal battle.
Fikile Mbalula, ANC secretary-general, clarified that although Ramaphosa has shown interest, the party’s legal team handles the situation. Mbalula emphasised that various options, including legal avenues and out-of-court settlements, are under consideration. Still, an external mediator has yet to approach the secretary-general of the ANC thus far.
