In the spirit of giving, RE/MAX launches its annual initiative, the RE/MAX National Toy and Book Collection, to bring joy to underprivileged children during the festive season. The campaign, running from December to January, encourages agents and clients to drop off spare toys, books, stationary supplies, and children’s clothing at their nearest participating RE/MAX office. All contributions received will be channelled to various local charities and children’s organisations nationwide, positively impacting the communities they serve.

Adrian Goslett, Regional Director and CEO of RE/MAX of Southern Africa expressed enthusiasm for the yearly campaign, stating, “Every time we run this campaign, our offices do a fantastic job delivering many carloads full of donations to various children’s organisations in the country.”

Last year’s campaign showcased remarkable efforts by RE/MAX offices nationwide. The regional support office collaborated with the Westlake United Church Trust in the Western Cape, RE/MAX Lagoon Estates in Langebaan, and donated to the Langebaan Pre-primary Community School. In Gauteng, RE/MAX Dazzle collected numerous donations, distributing them to charity organisations like Samaritan House, Home Start, Almond Tree, Buyani House, and the SPCA.

Other highlights included the RE/MAX Lifestyle Estates team in Nelspruit contributing to Huis Bethlehem and RE/MAX Northland Realty in Polokwane supporting the Ngwana Baby House, housing approximately 22 children. The head of Ngwana Baby House expressed gratitude, emphasising their dependence on donations.

Adrian Goslett shares, “It is so encouraging to see how our offices can make an impact across the country thanks to the generous donations of RE/MAX agents and clients. We hope this year’s collection will be even more successful than the last, and we continue to be grateful to all who choose to support our efforts.”

As the festive season approaches, RE/MAX of Southern Africa extends warm wishes to all South Africans, urging responsible and safe celebrations. The RE/MAX National Toy and Book Collection embody the essence of community, compassion, and the joy of giving back, making the holidays brighter for those in need.
