South African consumers now have access to the itel A05s, a 4G-enabled budget smartphone. Priced at a recommended retail cost of R1,499 (equivalent to US$79), this device offers 32GB of expandable ROM storage and 4GB of extended RAM. The itel A05s also boasts a 6.6″ HD+ Water Drop display and a 4,000mAh battery as reported by Caj News Africa.

The smartphone is described as a blend of classic and contemporary design, featuring a sleek, slim profile that exudes elegance.
In addition to the itel A05s, South African consumers can explore other itel smartphone options, including the itel A18, itel A04, itel A60, itel A60s, and itel P40, available at RRPs ranging from R899 to R1,999.
itel Mobile, the manufacturer behind these devices, is a China-based company founded in 2014 by Lei Weiguo and Shenzhen Transsion Holdings. The company’s headquarters are located in Shenzhen.
