South Africa Avoids Anti-Doping Sanctions by a Slim Margin

South Africa has been granted a temporary reprieve by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) after the South African Institute for Drug-Free Sport contested allegations of non-compliance with the updated anti-doping code. This dispute has been escalated to the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Switzerland. Until a formal ruling is issued, South African sports teams will retain the right to represent the nation in various events as reported by Eyewitness News.
