City Power collected over Rm from the Johannesburg CBD

City Power collected over Rm from the Johannesburg CBD since the start of cut-off operations. According to EWN, Johannesburg City Power has been actively pursuing a revenue collection drive across the metro, emphasising the importance of residents paying for their services to avoid electricity supply disconnections.

City Power recently conducted a revenue collection operation in Newtown to recover outstanding payments. During this operation, power was disconnected to businesses that owed the city a substantial R33 million.
