Stakeholders to Convene and Discuss Railway Safety Practices at Conference

The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) will lead in promoting railway safety practices as it takes the spotlight at the International Rail Safety Council (IRSC) conference. As per SANews, this conference, a gathering of railway safety experts and practitioners known for its global influence, will feature several presentations by PRASA on the critical topic of railway safety. One of PRASA’s primary goals is to revitalise passenger rail services within the country.

The IRSC conference, held in Century City, Cape Town, from October 1st to 6th, 2023, carries the theme “Reshaping railways in an uncertain world.” PRASA has enthusiastically embraced its role as the primary sponsor of this significant event, and they are delighted to see the conference return to South Africa.
