Rea Vaya commuters in the city have received assurances that there will be no more interruptions to the Rea Vaya bus service.

Last week, passengers were left stranded and had to seek alternative means of transportation as drivers failed to report for duty, according to EWN. These disruptions were caused by ongoing disputes between the drivers and the two companies responsible for employing them.

While the buses have returned to service as of Sunday, Rea Vaya spokesperson Benny Makgoga conveyed that commuters can anticipate a smooth week ahead.
