Keshia van Rooyen, a representative of CRC, emphasised the importance of recognising the outstanding work done by women, especially those in the police service. She highlighted the close partnership between the church, the police station, and CPFs in various projects within Kya Sand.

Van Rooyen explained, “We have been working very closely together, but today we celebrated that partnership. The goal was to just celebrate the ladies and make them feel that they are significant, important, and recognised.”

The event, aimed at honouring these women, was deemed a great success. Attendees enjoyed their time together, and the church expressed gratitude to all the members who contributed to making the event a resounding success.
