Benoni Flying Squad Warrant Officer Promoted
After dedicating 32 years to the force, Warrant Officer Tjaart Klopper of the Benoni Flying Squad (BFS) has achieved a well-deserved promotion, now assuming the rank of captain. This significant milestone took place alongside the promotion of five Gauteng Rapid Response Services (RRS) officers during a ceremony held at the 10111 Call Centre in Midrand.

Warrant Officer Tjaart Klopper has been an integral part of the BFS since 2001, and his exceptional commitment to duty has not gone unnoticed. He has consistently upheld a high standard of service, earning him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and superiors alike.
Lieutenant Colonel Tali Lukhele, the BFS commander, expressed his pride in the unit’s reputation for maintaining strict discipline. He considers it a great privilege to welcome a professional of Warrant Officer Klopper’s calibre into the ranks of the unit’s management team.
