Radio presenter DJ Sabby and dancer Bontle Modiselle now host the show. At the same time, the panel of judges includes former The Soil vocalist Buhlebendalo, Gospel singer Dr Tumi, and singer Zwai Bala.
What sets this season apart is the lineup of choir masters, each representing one of South Africa’s nine provinces. These choir masters are prominent figures in the country’s music scene, including Vusi Nova, Khanyisa, Lady Du, Ntencane, and, for the first time in the series, Prince Kaybee.
Prince Kaybee shared his excitement about this new venture on Instagram, stating, “Your boy is a Choir Master for Gauteng. Season 4 Clash Of The Choirs is going to be one for the books.”
According to M-Net, the network behind the show, viewers can expect a more refined and refreshed season with a strong emotional component. The statement from M-Net reads, “Get ready for a nationwide musical journey unlike anything South Africa has seen before. It’s time to harmonize!”
Shirley Adonisi, the director of local entertainment channels at M-Net, expressed enthusiasm for the show’s return, describing it as “refreshed and bolder than before.” Viewers eagerly anticipate engaging with the season and voting for their favourites as the musical competition unfolds.
