Tragic Video: Over 20 Miners Killed in Collision on Limpopo Road
The MEC for Transport and Community Safety, Florence Radzilani, is set to visit the harrowing accident scene of a collision on a Limpopo road, claiming the lives of over 20 Venetia Mine employees, located near Alldays.
According to Vongani Chauke, the Department of Transport and Community Safety spokesperson, the tragic incident involved a bus transporting mine employees. It occurred on the R572, approximately 25 kilometres from Musina, en route to the mine. Reports suggest the bus collided head-on with a truck, resulting in an immediate and devastating blaze.

Four people survived. The full details and circumstances surrounding the accident are pending a comprehensive investigation by the police.
In response to this heart-wrenching incident, Musina Mayor Godfrey Mawela will join MEC Florence Radzilani and senior management from the Venetia Mine. Their visit aims to establish the facts surrounding the accident and extend their condolences and support to hospitalised patients due to the crash.
